Making Chocolate Leaves
These can be made by brushing
a coating of molten chocolate onto the underside of a leaf
(preferably not of a poisonous leaf). Small leaves are often
more suitable as the chocolate leaf will become more delicate
the larger the leaf. The leaves should also have prominent
veins that will show up better. Rose leaves can be ideal,
but make sure that the leaves are washed thoroughly first.
Once the chocolate has
cooled gently peel the leaf away, starting at the tip of
the leaf.
