Creamy Chocolate Gateau

How to make creamy chocolate gateau:

Ingredients
250ml whipped cream
225g (8oz) white cooking chocolate

225g (8oz) butter
225g (8oz) Caster Sugar
4 Eggs
175g (6oz) Self Raising flour
55g (2oz) coco powder

For Chocolate Icing

200g (7oz) Icing sugar
85g (3oz) Butter
100ml Milk
 


Method
1) To start off, warm whipped cream until boiled. Chop dark chocolate and add into a food processor with the boiled cream. Let it cool up to 2 hours to fill between cake.
2) Pre-heat oven 180 degrees/gas mark 5. Whisk butter with sugar add eggs, flour and coco powder. Whisk until thick and creamy. Add mixture to a greased round baking tin. Place in middle shelf of oven for 40 - 50mins. Keep checking and poke a knife in the middle to see if cooked thoroughly.
3) Once the cake is complete, let cool on cooling rack for an hour and slice the cake into three so you can easily spread the cream filling between.
4) Once it has fully cooled down, start on the icing. whisk the icing sugar, butter and milk until soft and creamy. Spread over the gateau.

Sprinkle some chocolate for nice appearance. sit back and enjoy!
