How to make Chocolatey, Boozy Biscuity Surprise!:
Quantities for Base |

chocolate chip cookies |

milk chocolate |
1 x 400g |
tin of custard |
500g |
extra thick/whipping cream |

Alcohol eg Cointreau or Grand Marnier |

chocolate flake to decorate |

Method
1. Place a layer of cookies on the base of a large bowl. 2. Pour 2 or 3 tablespoons of alcohol over them. 3. Melt the chocolate and add 3 tablespoons of custard and stir well. 4. Pour some of the chocolate/custard mixture over the biscuits. 5. Place another layer of biscuits over the chocolate/custard mix. 6. Pour 2 - 3 tablespoons of alcohol over the biscuits. 7. Continue layering the biscuits, alcohol and chocolate/custard mix until these ingredients are finished, leaving a 2cm gap at the top of the bowl. 8. Whip the cream and fold into the remainder of the custard. 9. Cover the mixture in the bowl with the cream/custard mix. 10. Crumble the chocolate flake and scatter over the top. 11. Chill for 1 hour before serving - to allow the alcohol to soak into the biscuits.
