Method
Preheat oven to 150C, 324F, gas mark 3. Melt
the chocolate and butter over a low heat in a heavy
saucepan. Remove from the heat, allow to cool slightly,
add the vanilla, then leave to cool completely. Meanwhile,
lightly beat the eggs in a small bowl. Add the sugar,
flour and salt, and beat until combined. Fold the chocolate
into the egg mixture and then fold in the nuts. Grease
and flour a 9 inch pie plate and pour the pudding into
it. Bake for 1 hour. Set aside to cool, then keep chilled
until required. Just before serving the Chocolate Supreme, decorate if desired
with whipped cream, almonds and icing sugar.
