| How to make Chocolate & Nectarine Steamed Pudding:
Quantities for Pudding
||tbspns boiling water
||self raising flour
|| rounded tspn baking powder
||light muscavado sugar
||ripe nectarines peeled and cut into cubes
|For the Sauce
||continental plain choc. cut into pieces
||pouring double cream
You will need a 1.2 litre pudding basin.
Cut a square of foil to fit in the base of the basin
and grease well. Sieve the cocoa powder into a large
mixing bowl. Add the boiling water and whisk together
to make a thick paste. Add remaining pudding ingredients
except nectarines and whisk together til smooth.
Stir in the pieces of nectarine. Pour mixture into
buttered basin, and cover basin mixture with another
piece of foil buttered. Seal so that the steam can
