How to make Top Chocolate
Cake:
Quantity for base |
Ingredients |
| 180g (approx 3) |
Eggs |
| 180g (6.5oz) |
Flour |
| 180g (6.5oz) |
Butter |
| 180g (6.5oz) |
Brown sugar (white is
alright if you don't have any brown) |
| 50g (1.75oz) |
Good quality cocoa powder |
| 1 tsp |
Baking powder |
| 1 tsp |
Bicarbonate powder |
| 50ml |
Milk |
| 100g (3.5oz) |
Your chosen fruit
(rasberries & cherries are good) |
Quantity for icing |
Ingredients |
| 300ml |
Double cream |
| 30g (1oz) |
Icing sugar |
| 30g (1oz) |
Good quality chocolate
powder |

Method
Mix the the dry ingredients together then
mix in the butter, the milk and then fold the fruit
gently last. Place in a dish and bake the cake at
200C/400F/gas mark 6 for 30 minutes. When the cake
is cooling simply whip the the cream lightly then
continue whipping the icing sugar and cocoa powder
in. When the cake has cooled spread the icing on.
