How to make Simple Chocolate Cake:

Method
Grease an 8 inch cake tin and line the bottom with greaseproof paper. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius. 1. Cream together the butter and the sugar. 2. Mix in the eggs. 3. Sieve in the flour, cocoa powder and the baking powder. 4. Mix well until no lumps appear. 5. Pour into the greased tin. 6. Bake in the oven until a skewer comes out clean. 7. Turn out onto a cooling rack. 8. Decorate the cake as you wish.
You may use this recipe for a large cake or even fairy cakes/cup cakes if you want to!
