How to make Rich Chocolate Microwave Cake:
Quantity for base |
Ingredients |
| 170g (6oz) |
margarine/butter |
| 170g (6oz) |
caster sugar |
| 140g (5oz) |
self raising flour |
| 30g (1oz) |
cocoa powder |
| 3 |
eggs |
| Filling: |
either use fresh whipped cream or make butter icing |
| Decoration: |
melted dark or milk chocolate plus either chocolate buttons, flake or chocolate curls. |

Method
Mix margarine/butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, add one egg at a time with the flour/cocoa mixture until a nice consistency. Put mixture into a lined souffle dish or large microwave dish with straight sides. Put into microwave for 6 mins and 30 seconds.
To ensure it is cooked sufficiently put a skewer into the centre of the cake, if cooked it will come out clean, if not cook for 10 seconds at a time until complete.
