How to make Olie's Delicious Choc Cake:

| 275g (9.75 oz) |
self raising flour |
| 400g (14oz) |
sugar |
| Pinch |
salt |
| 125g (4.5oz) |
butter |
| 250ml |
water |
| 125ml |
sun flower oil |
| 50g (1.75oz) |
coco |
| 125 ml |
buttermilk |
| 2 teaspoon |
bicarb |
| 2 |
large eggs |
Icing |
|
| 60g (2oz) |
butter |
| 37.5 ml |
buttermilk |
| 30g (1oz) |
coco |
| 200g (7oz) |
icing sugar |
| 5ml |
vanilla essence |
Method
For the cake - sieve flour, sugar, salt. Heat butter, water, oil and coco in a saucepan until boiled, cool, pour into flour mixture, mix well. Mix buttermilk and bicarb. Beat egg lightly, mix into buttermilk mixture, add butter mixture into flour mixture. Pour batter into tin and bake for 25 minutes on 180°.
For the iIcing - Heat butter, buttermilk and coco to boiling, then remove. Sieve icing sugar into mixture,add vanilla essence. Poke holes in cake so icing soaks into cake, pour mixture over hot cake.
Do icing 5 minutes before cake comes out. Don’t need to serve it warm cold is delicious as long as you pour warm mixture over warm cake.
