How to make Chocolate Scones:

Caster sugar |
| 1 egg and enough milk to make it up to 150ml |

Method
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Centigrade. Place the butter and flour in a bowl and rub together until the scone mixture resembles bread crumbs. Stir in sugar, baking powder and chocolate chips then add the egg and milk mixture. Knead the mixture and roll out on a floured surface until about 2 inches thick. Place on lightly greased baking tray and cook for 10 to 12 minutes.
Try serving with whipped double cream.
