How to make chocololate and banana bread:

Bananas |

Margarine |

Brown sugar |

Milk cooking chocolate |
| 300g (10.5oz) |
Plain flour |
| 2 teaspoons |
Baking powder |
| 1/2 teaspoon |
Bicarbonate of soda |
| 2 |
Eggs, beaten |
| 100ml |
Vegeatable oil |

Method
1. Pre-heat the oven to 180`C/gas mark 4. Grease a 2lb loaf tin.
2. Peel and mash the bananas
3. Cream the margarine and sugar then stir in the bananas and chocolate.
4. Sieve flour, baking powder and bicarbonate of soda together.
5. Add flour and egg 1/3 at a time to the banana mixture. Beat well each time
6. Stir in the oil.
7. Pour mixture into the loaf tin. Bake for 45 minutes to one hour.
8. The loaf should be golden and well risen, pierce with a cocktail stick and if it comes out clean the loaf is ready.
9. Leave in the tin for 10 minutes then turn out on a wire rack.
