How to make Chocolate and Date Scones:

Method
Preheat oven to 400f/200c/Gas mark 4. Put flour, baking powder, sugar and butter in a bowl and rub together. Add dates and chocolate, mix with egg mixture (eggs and milk). Roll out 1" thick, cut into rounds and bake for 15 minutes.
Cool on a wire rack. Makes 8.
