Method
1. Heat oven to 180c/fan 160c/gas4. Grease and line a 20cm cake tin. 2. Place the butter, caster sugar, brown sugar, chocolate and golden syrup in the pan and melt gently on low heat until it is smooth and lump free. 3. Remove the pan from heat. 4. Break eggs into a bowl and whisk until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla essence, flour and baking powder to the chocolate mixture and mix thoroughly. 5. Put the mixture into the cake tin and place on the middle shelf of the oven. Bake for 25-27mins. 6. Remove from oven and allow cooling time of 20-30 mins before cutting into wedges.
When you have taken out of the oven, should be gooey inside, so don't worry.
