Method
Preheat the oven to gas mark 4, melt the dark chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water. Cream the butter and sugar and beat in eggs, vanilla extract and melted chocolate. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and chopped nuts spread the mixture into a (8in) square tin and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Cut into 5cm squares to serve.
