make Chocolate Flapjacks:

| 85g (3oz) |
butter |
| 2 tablespoons |
golden syrup |
| 50g (1.75oz) |
soft brown sugar |
| 175g (6oz) |
rolled oats |
| 50g (1.75oz) |
grated plain chocolate |

Method
Preheat oven to 160°C and grease and
flour a 7 to 8 inch square tin. Put the butter, syrup
and sugar into a saucepan and melt over a low heat.
Remove from heat and stir in the rolled oats, and
add the chocolate. Spoon into the tin and smooth
flat on top. Bake for 25 mins and allow to cool and
cut into 12 to 16 portions.
Store in an airtight tin.
