How to make Chocolate Chip Flapjacks:

baking margarine |

golden syrup |

cornflakes |

chocolate chips |
| 120g |
oats |
| 100g |
sugar |
| 120g |
plain flour |

Method
1) melt the margarine and sugar over low heat
2) crush the cornflakes in a tied plastic bag with a rolling pin (just enough to break them into small pieces but not to a powder), then put them into a large bowl with the oats, flour, sugar and chocolate chips
3) pour in the margarine and syrup mixture and stir well
4) pour into a greased 38 x 25cm swiss roll tray and bake at 190 degrees/gas 5 for 15 - 20 mins until set5) cut into squares whilst hot
Melt even more chocolate over the top when cool for that extra something!!
