How to make Chocolate Caramel Fudge (aka Millionaires Shortbread):
Quantites for base:

| 115g (4oz) |
Margarine/Butter (at room temperature) |
| 115g (4oz) |
Plain Flour |
| 55g (2oz) |
Sugar |
| Half a tsp |
Baking Powder |
| Quantites for filling: |

| Half a tin |
Condensed Milk |
| 115g (4oz) |
Butter |
| 2 tbsp |
Golden Syrup |
| 115g (4oz) |
SugarTopping |
| 115g (4oz) |
Melted chocolate |

Method
1. Mix together the ingredients for the base by hand or with an electric mixer
2. Spread over the base of a greased or lined tin. Approximately 9 inch by 13 inch
3. Cook for 20 mins at 200 degrees C until golden brown. Leave to cool
4. Place the filling ingredients in a small saucepan. Cook slowly on a medium heat and stir regularly to prevent burning at the bottom. (This may take up to 20 minutes, depending on how high the heat is, but beware of burning!). Heat until thick and brown in colour and tastes of caramel.
5. Spread onto base.
6. Melt Chocolate and spread over the caramel.
7. Cool and keep in the fridge
