Method
Measure oatmeal and blend in a blender to a fine powder. Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla, mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and Bicarb (soda). Add chocolate chips, Hershey (chocolate) Bar and nuts. Roll into balls and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes at (180) 375 degrees. The above quantities makes 112 cookies.
This recipe makes a huge amount of cookies so I would maybe half the amount, unless you were having a party!! As a tip, an american cup measurement is equal to 240 ml, or 8 fl oz.
