Chocolate Paradiso Bars

How to make Chocolate Paradiso Bars :

Quantity

Ingredients
1

egg

60g (2oz) butter
120g (4oz) sugar
120g (4oz) dessicated coconut
60g (2oz) chopped walnuts (optional, or substitute with nut of choice)
60g (2oz) raisins
60g (2oz) glace cherries
120g (4oz) plain/dark chocolate


Method
1.Line 18cm cake tin with foil
2. Melt chocolate in tin/glass bowl over hot water
3. Spread evenly over foil and leave to cool
4. Cream together butter & sugar. Add beaten egg
5. Add coconut, raisins and cherries
6. Place mixture on top of chocolate
7. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top
8. Put in the oven at 175 degrees centigrade for 30-45 minutes or until golden brown
9. Leave to cool in tin. Remove, peel off foil, and cut into fingers

The nuts, raisins, glace cherries and coconut can all be substituted with other things you prefer e.g. mixed peel, marshmallows, chocolate chips etc.
