How to make chocolate crunch bars:

| 1 packet + 5 bisuits |
Marie biscuits |
| 115g (4oz) |
butter |
| 1 tablespoon |
sugar |
| 1 tablespoon |
drinking chocolate |
| 1 tablespoon |
golden syrup |
| 1½ bars |
Belgian cooking chocolate |

Method
Line a swiss roll baking tin with greaseproof paper.
Apart from the biscuits and baking chocolate, put all the other ingredients into a saucepan, gently heat and stir; whilst cooking crush the biscuits to a fine grain, add biscuit to the pan when the mixture starts to boil, stirring all the time for a few minutes.
Remove pan from heat and pour into the prepared baking tin. Once the mixture is in, melt the baking chocolate and cover the biscuit mixture.
Place in the fridge and allow the chocolate to set before cutting into one inch squares.
Children love making this and eating it! It will keep up to two days in an airtight tin lined with kitchen paper. Perfect for buffets and childrens parties. Use either Milk or dark chocolate or a mixture of both.
